Nomen est omen: Dieses zuckersüße Café ist wirklich nur ein Fenster und bietet tagsüber erstklassigen Take-Away Kaffee zu einem Top Preis (Espresso: 0,95 €).Wenn Ihnen im Stephansdom zu viel los ist, haben wir eine tolle Alternative direkt um die Ecke beim Graben: Die Kirche St. Peter ist von außen unscheinbar, aber von innen mindestens genau so beeindruckend wie das Wahrzeichen Wiens – und das ohne Touristenmassen.
Hier kann man die Deckenfresken und Wandmalereien in Ruhe bewundern.
Wer traditionell österreichisch essen möchte aber beim Figlmüller oder im Plachutta keinen Platz mehr bekommt, versucht doch einfach mal Kern’s Beisl oder Weibel’s Wirtshaus. Beide sind bei den richtigen Wienern äußerst beliebt und bieten tolle österreichische Gerichte zu fairen Preisen.

If the St. Stephen’s Cathedral is too busy for you, you can find a great alternative hidden just around the corner: the church of St. Peter is inconspicuous from the outside, but at least as impressive as the landmark of Vienna – and that without tourist crowds. Here you can admire the ceiling frescoes and murals in peace.If you traditionally want to eat Austrian but do not get a seat at the Figlmüller or in the Plachutta, try the Kern’s Beisl or the Weibel’s Wirtshaus.
